wassup bro I checked out your game like you asked, ngl it did scare me a few times, you can watch the video if you wanna see what I thought about it. :)

Loved the atmosphere, both visually and audibly, very well paced, giving us tasks to complete, but at the same time not being overbearing, a couple of great jumpscares and a fantastically effective twist at the end. Still, a few things could be better, like being a bit brighter(at least at our own house and not grandma's, even though you could provide a sense of "security" by allowing to turn on the lights in grandma's house and then cause some tension by taking that away) and a bit lacking in story(you could build it up with something like a journal from grandma, or some notes scattered around the house here and there etc.). All in all, a great game, that has the potential to be even better. Keep up the good work, mate! Cheers!

Thank you very much for playing The Last Chore and making a video on it! I appreciate the honest review and feedback and I'm glad you enjoyed the playthrough. I'll definitely be taking the feedback into my next game to enhance the aspects that are lacking.

This is great! It's a focused game, simple yet effective much like its lofi art style. I like that it makes you get familiar with your surroundings, but the layout is so odd that you still can find yourself turned around regardless (which is a plus!). There are some strange choices, like mirrors without reflections, not being able to turn the lights on in your own home, and  coffin just hanging out in the yard, but these things really added to the uncanny vibe of this game. Plus they managed to make a coffee machine ominous. There's some fun details, like the sound effect for the window repair chore being glass shattering in reverse, and any game that uses "merked" in dialogue gets automatic bonus points from me. Runs very smoothly, clearly polished in that regard.

If you're into Puppet Combo games you'll enjoy this for sure.

I had a lot of fun playing this and would absolutely recommend!
